Welcome to the official website of Martin Zellar. It's lame, we know. Martin is not up on this whole world-wide internet thing. He thinks it's operated by robots, and robots frighten him. Actually, everything frightens Martin...or makes him sad. What can we do? We don't have a lot to work with here. Still, we promise to keep plugging away. Thanks for your patience.
You can check out the new MZ blog feature by clicking on his picture on the left. Martin assures us that he will post 'regularly'. How Martin defines "regularly" is unknown to us.
What can we say, other than we're sorry for the lack of communication. You try working with Martin. He disappears, leaves no phone number, doesn't check in, and doesn't check his e-mail. Suddenly, he's back and booking shows like crazy for the summer. We've added some of the upcoming shows to the tour dates section, and will be adding many more in the coming days and weeks.

There may be some movement on the new shoe front. Martin has finally worn holes through the soles of his favorite suede tasseled loafers. The recent passing of Martin's long-time personal cobbler, Don Chichi Miravelli, precludes the possibility of repair.
